Membership New/Renewal Requirements

The Weeping Water Gun Club is non-discriminatory and membership is open to everyone who meets the club's membership requirements.
Check the "Scheduled Meetings" page for the New Members meeting dates.

New Membership:

1. Be a current member of the National Rifle Association or sign up to become a member at time of registration.

2. Possess one of the following (Current & Valid):

  • Federal Firearms License
  • Nebraska Hand Gun Purchase Certificate
  • City of Omaha Handgun Identification Card
  • State or Federal Permit to Carry Weapon
  • NCIC background check

3. Membership Fee: $95.00 dues + $65.00 initiation fee (total $160.00) until July 1st. After July 1st the fee is $207.50 but will include your next year's membership.
   

 

Renewal:                      Printable Renewal Checklist and ANNUAL MEETING NOTICE

1. Be a current member of the NRA and provide a membership card with expiration date.

2. Provide one or more of the following (must be current):

  • Federal Firearms License
  • Nebraska Hand Gun Purchase Certificate
  • City of Omaha Handgun Identification Card
  • State or Federall Permit to Carry Weapon
  • NCIC background check
  • Note: Members must keep both their NRA membership and
    method of background check current and valid
    throughout the membership year.

3. Membership Renewal Fee: $95.00

RSOs:
To have your club Range Safety Officer rating renewed please submit a copy of your current NRA RSO rating, the club will reimburse the cost of the NRA certification with proof of payment.

 

Recruitment Fees:

When it comes time to renew your NRA membership, part of that membership fee can be returned to the Weeping Water Gun Club as a recruitment fee.

Just forward your renewal notice to the Membership Director with a check made out to either the NRA or WWGC.

Also, if you recruit a new NRA member: They do not need to be a member of the club to have WWGC receive a recruitment payment for signing up a new member.
